Acceptable use policy.

Effective . This policy applies to everyone who uses Vlozi (operated by Dipanshu Vishwakarma, trading as Vlozi, Devgaon, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh 276201, India) and to everything sent, published or stored through it. It is part of the Terms of service. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask at [email protected] first.

1. The principle.

Vlozi is a shared platform. Customers use the same infrastructure and, on the shared sending domain, the same sending reputation, so one customer's abuse harms everyone's mail. Use Vlozi to communicate with people who want to hear from you, and to publish things you have the right to publish.

2. What you may not do.

Email and messaging

  • Send unsolicited bulk or commercial email, or any message to someone who has not given you lawful consent. See the Anti-spam policy.
  • Use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested or third-party lists, or add people to a list without their knowledge.
  • Disguise who you are: forge headers, use a misleading sender name or subject, send as someone else, or send from a domain you do not control.
  • Send phishing, scams, malware, or messages designed to trick people into giving up credentials, money or personal data.
  • Send messages that are threatening, harassing, hateful or that incite violence.
  • Send messages that infringe someone's intellectual property or privacy.
  • Evade limits or filters, including by splitting sends across accounts, rotating domains, or using false identities.
  • Use Vlozi to relay or forward other people's mail.

Content

  • Publish or host illegal content, or content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
  • Publish content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or that is defamatory.
  • Publish content that targets a person for harassment, or that discloses private information without consent.
  • Use a chatbot to impersonate Vlozi, another business or a public figure, or to present medical, legal or financial advice as authoritative.
  • Use Vlozi for anything that needs a licence you do not hold, or that the law prohibits where you or your recipients are.

Systems and other customers

  • Probe, scan or test the platform for vulnerabilities outside our security-reporting process ([email protected]).
  • Attempt to access other customers' data, bypass tenant isolation, credential-stuff, or run denial-of-service or model-extraction attacks.
  • Overload the service, or use it to attack another service.
  • Resell or white-label Vlozi without a written agreement.

3. Your responsibilities.

You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by your team, your API keys, your clients and your automations. An agency may send for its own clients from its own workspace, and is responsible for those clients' lists, consent and content. Keep consent records. Keep recipient lists clean. Respond promptly when we contact you about a concern.

4. How we find problems.

We look at complaint, bounce and unsubscribe rates, abuse reports, and signs of compromise. We may review content and sending when there is a concern, to protect recipients and the platform. We do not otherwise read your content, except to give you support you asked for or where the law requires it.

5. What we may do.

In proportion to the problem, and with notice where we can, we may:

  1. Warn you and ask for a fix, with a deadline.
  2. Limit sending, publishing or particular features while we look into it.
  3. Pause sending for the workspace, for example because complaint or bounce rates are above our thresholds.
  4. Suspend the account.
  5. Terminate the account, without refund for serious or repeated violations.

We may skip steps and act immediately where there is a risk to people, to other customers, to infrastructure or to our ability to send mail, or where the law requires. We may report illegal activity to the authorities, and cooperate with valid legal requests.

6. Appeals.

If you believe we made a mistake, email [email protected] with your account, what happened and why you think it was wrong. A person will look at it and reply. Where the problem was real and you have fixed it, tell us what you changed; we will restore what we can.

7. Reporting abuse.

Report spam, phishing or other abuse sent through Vlozi to [email protected]. See the Abuse reporting policy for what to include and what happens next.

8. Changes and contact.

We may update this policy. Material changes are emailed at least 14 days in advance; the date above shows the current version.
