Anti-spam and email sending policy.

Effective . This policy sets the rules for sending email through Vlozi (operated by Dipanshu Vishwakarma, trading as Vlozi, Devgaon, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh 276201, India). It is part of the Terms of service and the Acceptable use policy. Vlozi does not allow spam. Our customers share one sending reputation, so every sender has to meet this standard.

1. The standard: permission first.

You may email a person through Vlozi only if they have given you permission to send them that kind of email, or you have another lawful basis the law accepts for that message (for example, a transactional message about something they asked for).

Good permission is:

  • Specific: they knew what they were signing up for and who it would come from;
  • Provable: you can show when and how they agreed (a timestamp, the form, the address it came from);
  • Recent enough: a list you have not mailed for a long time needs fresh permission before you mail it;
  • Easy to withdraw: one click, honoured quickly.

2. Lists you may not use.

You may not send through Vlozi to:

  • purchased, rented, leased or “co-registered” lists;
  • addresses scraped or harvested from websites, directories, social platforms or business cards;
  • addresses you collected for one purpose and now want to use for an unrelated one;
  • people who unsubscribed, bounced or complained, unless they have asked in a new, deliberate way to hear from you again;
  • lists that someone else gives you with a promise of “opt-in” you cannot verify.

If you cannot say where an address came from, do not mail it.

3. What every marketing message must include.

  • A working unsubscribe link in the body, and a one-click unsubscribe header that mail clients can use. Newsletter campaigns get both added if your message lacks them; for mail you send any other way, including them is your job.
  • Your real postal address (set once in your workspace settings); a campaign will not send without it.
  • Accurate From and Reply-To details and a subject that matches the content. No deceptive subjects, no forged headers, no pretending to be someone else.
  • Clear identification of who the message is from and why the recipient is receiving it.

4. Unsubscribes, bounces and complaints.

  • An unsubscribe stops that workspace's newsletter campaigns to the address immediately. You must not re-add the address.
  • A complaint (the recipient marks you as spam) suppresses the address for that workspace permanently. A hard bounce (the address does not exist) suppresses it for every workspace for 180 days; if it bounces again after that, the suppression becomes permanent.
  • Unsubscribes are per workspace: one workspace's list does not affect another's. If you need an address removed everywhere, email [email protected].
  • You must not suppress these signals or work around them.

5. What the platform does for you.

  • Double opt-in is on by default: a new subscriber confirms their address before they can be mailed. You can turn it off for lists where you have other proof of consent; that choice and its consequences are yours.
  • Every campaign gets the unsubscribe link, the one-click header and your postal address.
  • Hard bounces and complaints are suppressed automatically.
  • Campaigns are sent at the pace set in your workspace settings, and the platform rate-limits sends.
  • Complaint and bounce rates are measured for every workspace (see section 6).

6. Complaint and bounce thresholds.

We measure each workspace's recent sending (a rolling 7 days, once it has sent at least 200 recipients):

MeasureWe warn the workspace owner atWe may pause sending at
Hard-bounce rate2.5%5%
Spam-complaint rate0.05%0.1% (and at least 2 complaints)

Confirmation emails for new signups and bounces from an address that was already on a provider's suppression list are not counted against you. If sending is paused we tell you why and how to fix it; once the cause is fixed we review and lift the pause.

The limits are tight because mailbox providers and our email provider judge the whole platform by its worst senders.

7. Transactional vs marketing mail.

Messages that someone asked for or that finish a transaction (a receipt, a delivery notice, a password reset) are transactional. Promotions, announcements and newsletters are marketing. Do not put promotional content in a message you send as transactional to avoid consent or unsubscribe rules.

8. If you break this policy.

See section 5 of the Acceptable use policy: warning, limit, pause, suspension, termination. We may act immediately where recipients or the platform are at risk.

9. Reporting spam.

If you received spam sent through Vlozi, report it to [email protected] with the full message and headers. See the Abuse reporting policy.
